When is a good time to honor our heroes?  When you sit in your home at night and play video games or watch TV, you should thank our heroes.  When you sit down to eat dinner you should thank our heroes.

Then American soldiers fight and die everyday just so we can live.  They ask nothing in return except the respect they deserve.  Without them we would not be able to sit in our homes and feel safe at night.  Those brave men and women protect us from terrorists and from others that might harm us.  Without them we may not be living.

Can you imagine a United States without heroes?  People would be shot trying to get to work everyday by terrorists.  Terrorists would bomb city's everyday.  Stores along the streets would be destroyed and looted.  We can safely sleep and work everyday because they are out in danger protecting this country and its inhabitants.  We must thank our heroes whenever we can.

Think what would have happened if we didn't have those people to fight for our freedom during World War I and II.  What about fighting for independence from Great Britain?  I believe that if we didn't have those people we mgiht still be under British control, abiding by their laws and customs.  What if we had no heroes protecting us from the Japanese?  They might not have stopped at Pearl Harbor, they might have bombed major city's.

So when you ask me "when is a good time to honor our heroes?" I will say anytime is a good time.  If you see them walking down the street stop them and thank them for all there doing.  If you see them in a restaurant say thanks for keeping us safe by risking their lives for ours.
